i have the official openvpn client running on android and cannot use TAP. i have had to stand up a second instance of openvpn on my box and put a TUN config together. i want to use only TAP for all my clients, and i am looking to see if that is now possible on android.

The Android VPN API supports only TUN-style or routed tunnels on Layer 3 at the moment.
